I have been able to bring in models from Morrowind into Oblivion and retextured them using Nifskope
They look really good and I shall post some screenshots here soon.
The sad thing about bringing Morrowind Models into Oblivion is that you cannot (legally) give the mod to anyone.
I think the reason for this is because the people who own the copywrite on the Morrowind models are not the same people who own the models on Oblivion and therefor don't want it to mix Morrowind assets (models) with Oblivion models.
A real bummer to me who really enjoys not only the looks of the Morrowind models but also the nostalgia of seeing a Balmora house model with a new texture or a retextured giant mushroom looming in the distance.
In my case I don't share my mods so I shall continue to do what I do and not worry about Bethesda "finding out".
There are some programs to help you a bit and I'll list those too ASAP
